The Swamp Pirates were a group of pirates who terrorized Mercy. Known for their gas masks, the Swamp Pirates ran an elaborate drug smuggling operation in Sock Pirates. The Swamp Pirates infiltrated the local Mercy colonial government turn a blind eye to their activities. They were defeated by The Sock Pirates in Septembro 752.
The Swamp Pirates were founded shortly after they discovered a rich deposit of ancient fossils adequate for the creation of a drug known as Demon Dust. Mining these deposits is highly dangerous and toxic, so the Swamp Pirates began to enslave tribal groups and colonists from Mercy to do the mining for them. The Swamp Pirates were founded by outcasts of The Coven, and gained prominence on Mercy by using their techniques to dominate other pirates, who usually were disgruntled native tribes or small time colonial pirate groups with little knowledge of magic.
